the highest praise
Dear Sister Conkey
Your grades have all been posted. You have a 92 in the class - GREAT JOB!!
Thank you for your
outstanding work this semester. It has been a pleasure getting to know
you.
I
am taking an extra few minutes to write you because I think it is
important that you know how I see you…you are strong, confident and
brilliant. The weaknesses you listed as having at the beginning of the
semester
you either overcame or hid well. You are going to go far in life, and
the only person who can slow you down is you.
I’ve seen the difference in
your work when you are relaxed and it appears that challenges are easy
for you to overcome. I pray that you set goals so high they scare you.
I went to high school with people who now
work at the White House, in politics, and Hollywood…were they the
smartest?? No. But what they were was the most driven. You decided to
take college in a form that requires self motivation…you are that
person. You are brilliant, a gifted speaker, naturally
likeable (this cannot be taught…improved on but not taught…think Tony
Robbins. You have a great gift).
Please feel free to reach out
if there is ever anything I may do for you. You will always be in my
heart and prayers. I look forward to seeing your life updates as you
move from one amazing life experience to the
next.
Remember, do not let your
past define your future. And do not sell yourself short. We have both
seen what you are capable of achieving when you set your mind to it. I
expect you to rise to the top and reach your
dreams. Natural gifts like yours are gifts from God. Like my painting,
public speaking, and public relations I need to work on my gifts and
constantly improve…but they were given to us for a reason. Do good with
yours, and when you get to Heaven, make it
your goal to tell Heavenly Father that you shared every gift that he
gave you.
Keep me posted…love your biggest cheerleader -
Sister Palma

Can you believe the kind things this instructor said about me! I am feeling very overwhelmed at her praise. I have no idea what the next step is for me after I finish school in April, but I am sure that the Lord has something in the works, I just can't see it yet.
Christmas Spectacular
Ben and I got tickets to the Omaha Symphony's Christmas Spectacular!! It was singing and dancing and beautiful Christmas music!!
Meet Charlotte
Our last child to make the blankie deal- she had to give up her beloved pink Blankey and then she could pick a prize. She choose Charlotte. ❤️

Election night
I stayed up way to late watching the election coverage. I had strong feelings about both candidates, strong, bad feelings but guess what, the next day... life goes On. I have hope that Mr. Trump will do his best and hopefully surround himself with good people.
Date night
Ben and I went to the 40th birthday of Brian Trometer, Ben's best friend from high school and best man at our wedding. It was fun to meet new people and spend time with the man I love!

Pumpkins
Savannah carved one at a combined YMYW activity and Hunter and Ell wanted to do one too. They designed the faces and Hunter did his own carving.
In the bottom picture, Ell was eating marshmallows as her blood sugar was dropping, so I told her to hurry up so I could snap the pic,. Her idea was to shove both into her mouth and smile. Well played.

Holding court
Ellorie was leading sharing time and singing time with her primary class this afternoon.

We were able to go to the wedding of one of Ben's best friend from high school. It was a beautiful wedding and Ellorie tore it up on the dance floor!!
