Thank you

Thank you for making this move so wonderful.
Thank you for all your support before, during and after Hunter's arrival.
Thank you for traveling hundreds of miles to come see our family be sealed in the temple.
Thank you for holding Hunter and vacuuming my house so I could get so sleep.
Thank you for loving my kids like your own.
Thank you for being my friend.
Thank you for not judging me because I'm on "happy pills".
Thank you for believing in me.
Thank you for keeping us in your prayers.
Thank you for all the kind words.
Thank you for wanting what is best for our family, even if it means moving away from you.
Thank you for your faith.
Thank you for your example.
Thank you for letting me into your life and letting me learn from your strengths.
Thank you!

What your Christmas tree says about you.

White lights You ask houseguests to remove their shoes.
Multicolored lights You're an extravert.
Blinking lights You have ADD

Homemade ornaments You have lots of children.
Strung popcorn You have too much time on your hands.
Red balls only You wish you lived in a department store.

Yellow star on top You're traditional.
Glowing Santa on top You shop at Kitsch 'R' Us.
Cutoff tree You didn't measure the tree

Vague evergreen smell You bought a healthy tree
Strong evergreen smell You sprayed your tree with Pine-Sol.
Just plain smelly There's a dead bird in your tree.

This is right on for us. Multicolored light, homemade ornaments, vague smell, yellow star on top. What about you?

I got this from December's Reader's Digest.

Savannah stuffs!

Not really, she doesn't wear a bra. But she came in with wet wipes stuffed in her shirt because she wanted to have big boobs like me. She is growing up to quickly.

He is a little chubbier than Savannah, but he is built just like her.

Coming out of the dark

It's a wonderful feeling when you can actually feel the postpartum lifting. It's almost like a sunrise. Each day I see more light and feel a little less dark. I find myself accomplishing more, whining less, eating less (Hallelujah!!!) and taking a more active role in my own life. That light at the end of the tunnel is so close, I feel myself wanting to take off in a sprint to reach it. I want to finally feel like myself, I want my new Indiana friends to see who I really am and what I am really capable of.

St. Louis

More pictures will be coming, I just need Helena and Rhonda to send me some of the ones of all three of us cause the few I took on my camera were awful and not post worthy.

We had so much fun. We shopped, ate, talked, cried, slept a little, ate more, saw the arch, ate more. It was a wonderful getaway. It is amazing how excited you are for a getaway, but I couldn't wait to get home. I actually started crying about 20 miles from home. I was so overwhelmed with the blessings in my life and also with the comforting feeling that I was home.

Hunter was amazing. He was good and happy the whole time. I paid for it last night however when he thought he needed to eat every 55 minutes. Oh well, small price to pay.

Ben and the kids had fun too, I will post those pics later. He's so wonderful to make fun plans and do fun things with the kids so that when I'm away, they know they get to have an adventure too.

The allergic reaction...it wasn't pretty

The first picture was when I first noticed my eye was itchy.
The second was after my first Benadryl induced nap.
The third is the next day.
Like I said, it wasn't pretty.

Hunter 5 months old!

Savannah's Fall Program

At her preschool they do seasonal programs where the kids learn songs and make special crafts to show the parents. This was her fall program where they sang some Halloween songs. It was super cute and she did great.

Halloween festivities

Running as fast as they can to get to the next house.

Here are the costumes, Savannah was a cheerleader and Austin was Anakin Skywalker.

The pumpkins, yes we carved them in the back of Ben's truck cause it was nice out.

Some wonderful friends invited us over for dinner and Trick or Treating. Ben and Tyler took the kids out and Adrienne and I stayed in with the little boys. It was too chilly for them to be out.

Flag Football- a great season-Go Colts!!!

Austin played on the Colts this year and we had a great time. Good families, good football weather, and a great coach. Here are some of the highlights

This is his team. His coach said if they won the last game he would come to the Castle Bowl dressed as a Colts Cheerleader. Jake didn't disappoint.

After his last game.

All Bundled up!

Run Austin Run!

Winter Coat

I broke down and got a coat for this winter. It's the first winter coat I have bought since Savannah was born 5 years ago. Think of all the money we saved living in the desert. LOL!

I found this one online and fell in love with it. My sweet friend had 50% off at Old Navy and she picked it up for me. What a doll. Now I'm ready for Winter. No one else in the family has coats that fit, but I'm ready.
