That's just crazy talk!

Many of you know that I have been complaining relentlessly for months now about being tired, not getting enough sleep, needing naps, whining nonstop about sleep deprivation. Well, this will really make you laugh!

I caved to peer pressure and told a friend that I would do a one week trial membership at her gym. Problem is, she goes at 5:15am. Let me repeat, that's 5:15AM!!!! It's still dark out! Is it even considered morning if the sun isn't up. Isn't that really like going to the gym in the middle of the night? What was I thinking?

I'm actually doing it because I gotta shake things up and I think this is just outside my comfort zone enough to do it. We'll see. So while you are all sleeping warm, cozy, dreaming sweet lollipop dreams, I will be at the gym at 5:15 AM, sweating, burning calories I haven't yet consumed and hopefully starting something new for me.

I have made fun of countless friends for going to the gym that early (Jaime) and now I'm eating my words. Maybe there is something to starting my day off that early and taking time for me. I'll let you know how it goes!

Austin turns 8

Tomorrow is Austin's birthday. He will be 8, I can't believe it. He is very excited to get baptized. He plans to invite some friends from school and also his teacher. I will let you know the exact date.

We are having a family party tomorrow and then we will be spending the weekend in Nashville with Tanya, Greg, Alex and Ellie. It will be so wonderful to see their faces. The kids are so excited!

Happy birthday to my sweet boy! I love you, you are the source of so much joy and happiness in my life.

He's crawling!

He is too young to be this mobile. He has been crawling forward since we got home from Iowa. Now he is pulling himself up to standing and trying to walk along furniture and stuff. Where did my baby go?

At this rate, he'll be riding a motorcycle before he even sleeps through the night! It's just not fair. 7 Months old, I bet he's walking by 10!

Presents

The kids hit the jackpot this year. Everyone was very generous and they got some great stuff. Thanks everyone for taking such good care of my sweet kids, we had a wonderful time in Sioux City and Ankeny.
