Pete the Cat
Ellorie's preschool class went to the Rose theater to see a musical called Pete the Cat. She loved the music and the dancing. It was so fun! The busride (her first) was the best part. NO SEATBELTS!
Austin
Austin is changing right before my eyes and I am at a loss as to how to tell him how proud I am of him. He is learning to be responsible and work hard, at the same time he will always be a little goofy and always up for making someone smile. What can I say, I just love him.

the old rugged cross
A friend from church asked us to make this cross for a visual aid for his seminary class. Ben did a fabulous job.
Arbor Day Farms
We picked those apples straight from the tree. We had to sample the goods.
We went with 4 other families from our ward. Together there were 19 kids and 5 moms.

hammocks- Arbor Day Farms
Not 10 seconds after this pic was taken, the knot came lose and he fell. It's hard to realize you aren't the same size as the 6 years olds around you.
first dance class
Ell is taking a ballet and tap class with her friend Brynn. They love it and they love doing it together.
my mom
I'm so lucky to have her for a mom. She teaches me over and over again not get lost in the here and now, but to keep the future in mind and learn to treasure the chaos.

Ben's handywork
Ben finished our fireplace this Labor Day. It truly was a labor of love, he worked sun up to sun down all weekend, but it was totally worth it.
