Hunter was busy today.  He helped with every single thing we made for Thanksgiving.  The pies, the stuffing, the cranberries, the carmelitas, and the potatoes.

I know it sounds funny, but I am over the moon about these freaking bar stools.  They are perfection.  Comfortable AND cute.  The perfect shade of chartreuse.  Yep, they make me happy.  It really is the little things in life.

I feel fat just typing it all out.  We are so excited to be hosting this year.  We feel extra greatful this year to be so close to family.

headaches

I feel like I have been battling these headaches for years.  I have gone to the dentist, the doctor, the chiropractor, I've tried vitamins and supplements, I got off pop, caffeine, I exercise and nothing.

I remember a chiropractor in Indiana who said if I didn't work on my posture, I would have chronic headaches because of the nerves being pinched in my neck and I believe that is what is going on.

I can't remember an afternoon that I didn't feel sick.  Everyday. I feel fine when I wake up, and about noon everyday it starts.  I take Excedrin and all I feel like doing is sleeping and puking.  !!

Elf the musical

Austin and I got tickets to go see Elf the musical at the Orpheum in downtown Omaha.  It was his first musical and he really enjoyed it.  He laughed, he danced along and it was almost as fun to watch him as it was to watch the play.

I really want my kids to appreciate the arts.  I think it makes for well rounded people and I really like all that artsy fartsy stuff so I am going to force them to like it too.

We moved her kitchen and her baby stuff up to her room and she is really enjoying it. 

Hunter's handiwork

 At preschool his teacher writes their names and then they have to write it on the line.  Hunter's signature is very artistic and I love it!!

This was made for Columbus day.  Pretty cute.

sneak preview- holiday card pics

There are so many good ones, its going to be hard to choose.  Maybe I will have to send Thanksgiving and Christmas cards, just so I can use all the great pics.

DIY - boys room

It was WAY overdue!!  We repainted the dresser Adrienne gave us when Ellorie was born.  We got new hardware, Ben made an awesome headboard (he's getting really good at it), and we repurposed the shelf he made for Savannah's birthday and painted it the same blue to match the boys new room.  Now I just need to find a light gray comforter and some cool accents and we will be good to go.
