aches
My cheeks absolutely ache from smiling and laughing with Hunter all day. He is such a joy, such a ray of sunshine. He is everything good in life all wrapped in a sweet smelling, cuddly, happy baby. How did I live my life without him? Oh, I love that baby!

Hunter is a talker
Hunter has become quite the smiler and talker. This is just a tiny sample of his sweet voice. He loves to make a roaring sound that resembles Simba from The Lion King when he was working on his roar. Love it!

Hunter Bear
First day of Second Grade
Austin is loving his new school. He loves that he gets to choose everday what he wants to wear and he loves his teacher and class. On the first day, when it was time to drop him off, he said to just drop him at the door, he could do it. He jumped out of the car and marched into the school like he owned the joint. Oh, to be that confident! He has adjusted so well. I think part of it has been all the wonderful people who have gone out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home here (Amy and family, Vanessa and family, Brandy and family). Here's to an awesome year!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH OUR MOVERS
What the crap happened to your beautiful wicker chair? Looks like it was shredded!
Are those scratches to Savannah's brand new bedroom set? Why, yes they are!
Is that a huge dent/scratch on the corner of your dining table? Why, yes it is!
Are those dents and scratches to your air hockey table? Why, yes they are!
Is that a broken end table? Why, yes it is!
Is that bleach spilled on Austin's bookshelf? Why, yes it is!
We have over 100 pictures of damaged items to report. Next time you are complaining about having to move your own stuff, think of us and be greatful. This sucks! Every dining chair has scratches or dents, Austin's bed set is all but ruined, and don't even get me started on the drywall damage!!!! Did I mention that every single piece of Savannah's bedroom set has dings out of it? Did I mention that they took huge chunks out of our door frames in the boys room when they bashed the air hockey table into it? Just blogging about it makes my blood boil!

Home Sweet Home!!!
Wow, how do I even begin. Leaving was so hard, but we have gotten the most wonderful reception here, I am speechless. Sunday night, Amy, our new Primary President had us over for ice cream sundaes and then Monday night she had us over for dinner. She sent out a little email and invited a couple other families over and when we got there, 10 other families were there and they were so welcoming and happy to meet us. It was so great, every new family should have such a warm welcome.
Our house is amazing and it already feels like home. I don't know why, but when I walked in, I had the most wonderful feeling of coming home. It felt familiar and warm and I could picture our things in there, I could imagine Hunter learning to crawling, I could see us planting a garden and the kids playing air hockey in the play room. It is such a blessing to finally feel like I am home.
I have noticed a few differences between Vegas and Indiana, I will share a few.
When you step outside in Henderson, you are overcome with heat. When you step outside in Indiana, your sunglasses immediately fog over because of all the humidity.
Savannah's hair is so curly and manageable here, not dry and frizzy like it was there.
Mailboxes, everyone has there own. Love it! No two houses look alike and each has its own personality, good or bad. Road kill, who knew I would be so happy to see road kill?
