cold tile

Our tile floors can be really cold but Hunter has adapted to crawling on them. He's amazing.

Baptism Day!!!!!

What a wonderful day! I'm not sure who was more excited, Austin or Savannah? Austin didn't seem nervous at all and neither did Ben. I think both were just feeling very proud. Proud of their choices and proud to be worthy for such a great event. Savannah had a hard time not being the center of attention, but she made her mark. She helped me with my talk and made sure her presence was known. Silly girl!

Thanks to all the people who held Hunter so I could take it all in without having to wrestle a wiggly baby.

Ballet

Savannah had a playdate with her friend Callie from Prek. They put on a show for us and these are just some of the highlights! I love little girls!

Austin's getting baptized on Sunday!

We are all super excited to share in Austin's big day. He's asked me to give the baptism talk and I'm very nervous. I make a better dotting mom than speaker. I will post pics Sunday night.

*************Sidenote- I am way to young to have an 8 year old son. When did this happen????

slipped

Saturday around noon, I had finally got Hunter to sleep, laid him in his crib and was sneaking downstairs to get as much done in 45 minutes as I could when the next thing I know, my feet slipped out from underneath me and BAM! I'm laid out on my back on the tile floor at the bottom of the stairs. I landed on my tailbone and thought I would die. It took me 20 minutes just to get off the floor. I have been hobbling around the house ever since.

Last night, I went to the gym at 9pm because Hunter has a fever and hasn't been sleeping well. (I know right, surprize surprize.) I pulled into the garage and was talking to my brother when I stepped out of the truck and BAM! slipped again. This time I hit the garage floor with my elbow and my neck hit the running board on the truck. I had to call Ben inside the house to come help me.

I am sure I have some brain tumor that only manifests itself as a loss of traction in middle aged women. My left arm is achy, my elbow is bruised, my tailbone throbs and my neck is all kinds of screwed up. I need to go to the chiropractor. Last night as Ben was helping me get ready for bed, I told him I was done with winter and ready to head back to Vegas.

daily dose of cuteness

I Spy...

Yep, that would be Savannah wearing Hunter's vest. Did I mention it is a size 6-9 month?

gym follow up

5am comes with new meaning to me now.

It means that by 6:15 I will be happier, have more energy, and will accomplish more in that day then I did in a week prior to working out.

I had NO IDEA how much I needed those endorphins from exercise. I had NO IDEA how much I missed a good sweat session. I had NO IDEA how out of shape I had let myself get. I had NO IDEA that I am a gym rat. I had NO IDEA I would love getting up so early.

I'm so in love with it I even got up and went on Saturday for an hour. I'm not losing any weight of course because I'm still nursing round the clock, but I feel like once he is weined, I will be able to lose it. I'm not worried about it. What I am worried about is swimsuit season! UGH!

Just cause it's cute

Savannah was out "helping" Ben shovel and Hunter did his dangest to get out to them. This is as close as he got.

They like me, they really like me!

An angel stopped by my house today and gave me rose. She said she was just thinking of me. After she left, I nearly cried. What a wonderful thing to do and so unexpected. I'm incredibly grateful she considers me a friend, cause I think she's an angel.

Snow volcano

The kids made a snow volcano and used my cherry shave ice juice for the lava. Then they ate it. Yum.

Breakfast in Bed

Monday I was feeling like a million bucks after hitting the gym so I surprized the kids with breakfast in bed. They were thrilled, it started their day off great and I felt like a good mom for once.

Girls just wanna have fun!

Facebook | Kelsie Conapinski Tarter's Photos - NLC Dance

Savannah takes a dance class at the Newburgh Learning Ctr. and we did a mommie/daughter dance to Girls Just wanna have fun. Here's the ending pose.

It was really fun!
